Clinical Details

Schedule : 7-on/7-off; 12-hour shifts (6-6 or 7-7 depending on site)

Volume : 18-22 patients/day (may be higher during busy season)

Admissions :

Hospital : 0-2 from 6 AM-12 PM; daytime admitter 12-8 PM

Hospital :
Admissions from 7 AM-12 PM or 4-7 PM

Coverage :

Hospital

: 5 hospitalist teams, 2 NP teams, one admitter, ICU nocturnist at night

Hospital

: 2 hospitalists + 1 NP team, 1 nocturnist at night

ICU Duties :

Hospital

: ICU rounding possible, Intensivist support available

Hospital

: ICU rounding required; transfer decompensating patients to Hospital

Respond to codes/RRTs for own patients; ED/Intensivists lead

Base Salary : $300,000-$350,000
