We're seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to lead procurement activities within an assigned commodity segment. This role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, cost reduction, and on-time delivery.
RELOCATION ASSISTANCE WITHIN THE UNITED STATES IS AVAILABLE
Key Responsibilities- Manage purchasing of materials, services, and supplies supporting MRP requirements.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships and performance.
- Analyze quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support supplier selection, qualification, and development.
- Resolve purchasing, delivery, invoice, and quality issues.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Drive improvements in supplier delivery, quality, inventory, and cost.
- 6+ years of procurement experience
; aerospace/defense preferred. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong ERP/MRP purchasing experience.
- Background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, and cost analysis.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
