Join our team as a Lead Service Technician at our Fort Whipple location!

Are you a hands-on leader who takes pride in keeping communities safe, functional, and looking their best? Our Fort Whipple community in Prescott, AZ is a 103-unit affordable housing property, and we are seeking a skilled Lead Service Technician to guide our maintenance operations and help create a great living experience for our residents. What You'll Do

  • Ensure ongoing building compliance and successful property inspections

  • Organize, schedule, and oversee the maintenance workflow for the community

  • Work within established budgets and assist with managing vendor relationships and bidding processes

  • Respond to work orders and perform corrective maintenance with professionalism and resident focus

  • Oversee make-ready apartment turns including painting, basic repairs, and cleaning tasks

  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance and property inspections

  • Participate in the on-call emergency maintenance rotation as assigned

  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies

  • Promote strong resident relations and excellent customer service

  • Coordinate and direct outside contractors as needed

  • Support a safe, clean, and attractive community environment

What You Bring

  • At least five years of maintenance experience in a lead or supervisory capacity required

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills

  • Ability to read and complete work orders and service requests

  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems

  • Good safety habits and commitment to following company procedures

  • Experience in affordable housing environments is a plus

  • Team-oriented approach and ability to work well with a wide range of people

  • Reliable transportation and basic tools required
