Job Title:

Nurse Practitioner - Interventional Pain

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Interventional Pain to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a critical part in evaluating and managing patients with chronic pain conditions, utilizing advanced interventional techniques to improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and review of diagnostic results, to formulate effective pain management plans.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement interventional pain management strategies, including nerve blocks, ultrasound-guided injections, and other minimally invasive procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families on pain management techniques, procedure details, and post-treatment care to ensure informed decisions and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress through follow-up appointments and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal pain relief and functional improvement.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in clinical research and continuing education opportunities to stay current on the latest advancements in interventional pain management.
  • Ensure a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, fostering a supportive and positive environment for patients experiencing chronic pain.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
  • Certification in Pain Management or related specialty is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in pain management, particularly within an interventional pain clinic or similar setting.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology.
