* Handle cash transactions, ensuring that all money is accounted for and proper change is given.

* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

* Assist with bagging and packaging customer purchases as needed.

* Understand and promote store loyalty programs and promotions.

* Answer customer inquiries and provide product information.

* Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.

* Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

* Follow all cash handling procedures and security measures to minimize the risk of theft or error.

* Participate in training and development programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Excellent math skills to handle cash transactions accurately.

* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

* Knowledge of basic computer functions.

* Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds).
