First Assistant Golf Professional
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Golf Professional to join our team. This position plays a key leadership role in managing the daily golf operations, including supervising outside services and bagroom staff, running the point of sale system, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the facility. The Golf Professional will also take ownership of tournament operations using Golf Genius, assist with retail merchandising, and help maintain a seamless and welcoming golf experience for all members and guests.

Qualifications- Previous experience in golf operations, tournament coordination, or golf shop management is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Golf Genius, point of sale systems, and tee sheet software.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on member service.
- Retail or merchandising experience in a golf environment is an asset.
- Must be organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required.
- Oversee daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, pace of play, and coordination of outside service and bagroom staff.
- Operate and manage the point of sale system for tee times, retail transactions, and member billing.
- Lead the planning, setup, scoring, and execution of tournaments and outings using Golf Genius software.
- Assist with merchandising duties, including receiving inventory, visual displays, sales, and monthly stock rotation.
- Deliver professional and friendly customer service, addressing member needs and resolving issues efficiently.
- Support junior golf programs, clinics, and limited instruction as needed, with a focus on customer engagement.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the golf shop, staging areas, and practice facilities.
- Collaborate with the Head Professional and other team members to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
