Presque Isle, ME - Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Schedule: Full-time/Days; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

Payrate: $15.10 - $16.00/hr.

Immediate opening for an Auto Detailer to work for a locally owned car dealership. Excellent daytime schedule. Great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual that enjoys working on automobiles. Prior cleaning/maintenance experience helpful, but not required.

The Auto Detailer will inspect, clean, and polish interior and exterior surfaces on a variety of passenger vehicles for the dealership and its customers. Applicants should have a good eye for detail and understand how to properly use cleaning materials and tools in a safe and effective manner. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. Must be able to bend, crouch, and lift/move up to 50 lbs.

• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic damage and/or contamination, keeping records of any scratches, dents, stains and/or deterioration present upon arrival.
• Remove debris and trash from vehicle interiors and external crevices.
• Thoroughly clean interior and exterior surfaces, using buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment as appropriate.
• Properly apply cleaning chemicals, restoration agents and polishes in order to maintain or enhance the appearance of the vehicle.
• Move vehicles in and out of the shop area, ensuring that the car lot is properly organized and vehicles are kept in assigned locations.
• Review inventory of cleaning products and supplies, and submit requests for refills in a timely fashion.
• Follow all safety policies as directed by site supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Valid driver’s license; driving record must be in good standing.
