The University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) is seeking to hire two (2)
Transfer Officers
.
The Transfer Officers will evaluate domestic and foreign transcripts to determine course equivalencies, process transfer credit evaluations, maintain transfer credit data in the Student Information System, verify transcript authenticity and institutional accreditation, and serve as a resource on transfer policies for the University community. These are full-time, on-campus positions.
The salary for these full-time, on-campus positions is $45,300.32 annually. The University will consider the salaries of current University of Maine System employees for transfer or promotion opportunities based on skills and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and tuition waiver programs for employees and eligible dependents. The University of Maine System is a recipient of the Wellness Councils of America’s Well Workplace Award and offers a variety of wellness programs.

- Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. The education requirement may be waived on a year-for-year basis for candidates with substantial post-secondary transfer credit experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, faculty, and staff.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with computers and databases.
- Experience in a student records environment.
