The University of Maine at Presque Isle is seeking an
Assistant Director of Enrollment Issues and Waivers to join the Office of Student Financial Services.

This position oversees complex enrollment-related financial aid processes, including Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4), Unusual Enrollment History (UEH), dynamically dated and repeated coursework, Spring Admit packaging, May/December graduates, ISIR processing, and waiver programs. The position also provides direct financial aid advising to students and families and supports financial literacy, policy implementation, cross-campus coordination, staff guidance, and process improvement.

This is a
full-time, on-campus position at the University of Maine at Presque Isle and is not remote
. Normal University business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required based on the needs of the position.

The salary for this full time on-campus position is $52,000. The university will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion depending on skills and experience. Required Qualifications
  • Typically has the education associated with a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of academic and directly related professional work experience.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and the ability to organize and administer programs in a highly computerized environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and aptitude for handling multiple tasks.
  • Capacity to work independently and as a member of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous financial aid experience.
  • Previous experience with People Soft or another enterprise-wide database system for higher education.
