Job Description:
This is a technical position of supervisory nature overseeing state funded projects, including paving and construction activities, primarily on collector roads in designated geographic areas, in the Region.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Coordinating and managing people, materials, equipment, budgets, schedules and contracts, to ensure timely delivery of assigned projects in the Regional Program,
* Ensuring the safety of employees and the general public,
* Assuring all work conforms to all applicable state standards, specifications, and design,
* Working proactively with the Bureau of M&O, Planning, and the Regional Program in developing the biennial LCP and State Funded work program.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
Twelve (12) years of experience in highway maintenance and construction or engineering
-OR- a Bachelors Degree in an allied technical field and four (4) years of engineering experience
-OR- an Associates Degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field and eight (8) years of related experience including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
