- Hours per Week: 36 (12-hour rotating shifts; days, nights, and mid-shifts 10a-10p)
- Guaranteed
Hours:
36 per week - Weekend Rotation:
Every other weekend - Charting System:
First Net EMR - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880–$2020 per week
- Benefits:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maine or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) or Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC and NRP certifications preferred
- Proficient in EKGs, IV starts, TNKase administration, nebulizer treatments, initiating Bipap, suture removal, casting assistance, and ventilator management
- Charge nurse or leadership experience is a plus (please indicate on your application)
- Comfortable providing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics
- First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply!
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and manage patients with a broad range of conditions, including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health emergencies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including ED providers, mid-levels, hospitalists, technicians, and support staff
- Perform and assist with clinical procedures such as EKGs, IV starts, medication administration, nebulizer treatments, suture removal, and casting
- Utilize First Net EMR for accurate charting and documentation
- Participate in hospital and unit orientation; maintain a professional appearance (scrubs of any color permitted)
- Adhere to hospital policies and contribute to a positive, team-oriented healthcare environment
