Pro Steel is hiring an experienced Welder & Fabricator to join their structural steel fabrication team in Preston, Idaho. The role focuses on fabricating and welding structural and miscellaneous steel components while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities- Fabricate and weld structural and miscellaneous steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform MIG and Fluxcore welding on various materials and thicknesses
- Fit, assemble, and tack weld steel components for final welding
- Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, and plasma cutters
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and customer expectations
- Previous experience as a welder/fabricator in structural or miscellaneous steel
- Strong MIG and Fluxcore welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Knowledge of structural steel welding codes and industry standards
- Detail-oriented with strong workmanship and reliability
- Ability to lift, stand, and work in a shop environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
