Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Out of School Club Assistant to support the Club Manager in providing high-quality care and activities for children in the after school club. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and caring environment, promoting physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of the children, and assisting the Club Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the club.

- Support the Club Manager in planning and implementing play activities and outings for children
- Provide a high standard of care and support for children, including those with special needs
- Manage and supervise children during club activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist with the preparation and serving of snacks and meals
- Help with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and communication with parents
- Support the Club Manager in maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Safeguarding and keeping children safe is our highest priority.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of special events and activities

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis. The amount shown is the full-time equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications- Child Care Qualification if not you will needto undertake one if successfully appointed.
- Paediatric First Aid if not you will need to undertake this training
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience working with children in a similar setting
- Basic first aid and child protection training (or willingness to complete)
