Solar Electrician - Preston (_electri) City of Preston, England

We are recruiting for an experienced Solar Electrician to join a rapidly growing organisation delivering renewable energy and retrofit projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with solar expertise who wants to play a key role in the transition to clean energy.

• Preston & Leyland area
• Regular travel to customer sites required

• £50,000 per annum
• Company vehicle provided
• Full-time, permanent position

• Install and commission residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
• Carry out electrical testing, inspection and fault‑finding
• Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports and certification
• Ensure all installations comply with current electrical regulations and industry standards
• Diagnose and resolve faults within solar PV systems
• Work closely with installation teams and project managers to deliver projects safely and efficiently
• Complete all installation documentation and compliance records accurately
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on every project
• Provide technical support and advice where required

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
• Recognised Solar PV qualification
• Experience installing and commissioning solar PV systems
• ECS or CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel to sites across the region
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service
