. HMP Kirkham is a Category D open prison
, offering a calmer, more predictable working environment and well‑planned maintenance work.

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance
• Fault finding and repairs
• Minor works, inspections and testing to BS7671
• Ensuring electrical systems are safe and compliant

• Level 2 Electrical qualification
• 18th Edition (17th considered with upskilling)
• Good knowledge of electrical maintenance and H&S
• Ability to work independently

• 39 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00;
  Friday to Sunday 08:00 - 16:00
• 1 in 3 weekends (paid at +15%)
