Bridgeman Recruitment (Agency) are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator to work on a busy new build housing development in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established residential contractor.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a telehandler on a live housing development.
- Load, unload and distribute building materials to site trades.
- Assist with deliveries and ensure materials are placed in the correct locations.
- Carry out daily pre-start machine inspections and report any defects.
- Support site operations by assisting with general duties when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Comply with all site health & safety procedures and company policies.
- Valid CPCS Blue/Red or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
- Previous experience working on new build housing sites.
- Full PPE.
- Strong awareness of health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Checkable work references.
- Competitive hourly rate (CIS).
- Ongoing work with the potential for long-term employment.
- Weekly pay.
- Immediate start for the right candidate.
