Accord Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle workshop in Preston (PR1).

You'll be responsible for keeping a commercial vehicle fleet safe, reliable and roadworthy.
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs
- Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Diagnostic and fault-finding work
- Preparing vehicles for MOT
- Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Completing job cards and service records
- Working safely within a busy workshop
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Previous HGV / LGV / Truck / Commercial Vehicle experience
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Good fault-finding ability
- Mechanical and electrical repair experience
- Reliable and proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence

The role is commutable from Preston, Leyland, Chorley, Bamber Bridge, Penwortham, Fulwood and surrounding areas.
