We're looking for a qualified electrician to join a friendly, family-run business specialising in domestic EV charger installations.
The work is long-term, on your own patch, completing 2 jobs per day.
We work as a team, back each other up and have a bit of fun along the way. You'll work from home, with travel generally no more than an hour, so you won't be sent all over the country.
Pay and support- £275 per day once live, paid weekly as CIS or Ltd

- 3-day induction in Bolton, so you're never thrown in at the deep end
- Support from our direct engineers and managers throughout, plus cross-training to build your skills
- Installing, testing and commissioning AC (7.4kW to 22kW) charge points, with DC fast-charging units (40kW to 350kW) where required
- Site surveys: assessing properties, consumer units and cable routes to plan the best charger position
- Testing and compliance: electrical testing, RCD verification, earthing (including open-PEN fault protection) and registering notifiable work under Part P
- Submitting DNO notifications for new grid loads
- Fault diagnosis, repairs and maintenance, including hardware and software connection issues
- Walking customers through the charger and companion app
- Completing certificates and paperwork accurately, and leaving customers' premises clean and tidy
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
- At least 1 year's experience installing domestic EV chargers
- A valid UK driving licence
- Good customer service skills, face to face and over the phone
- A clean, tidy and professional image
- Your own tools and test equipment
- OZEV-approved installer status
- Familiarity with brands such as Sync Energy, Ohme, Cord and Hypervolt
