MOT Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Technician for our client, a reputable family-owned motor group in Preston. The MOT Technician will play a key role in delivering high-quality vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOT testing within a franchised environment. • Competitive salary with overtime opportunities, circa £35,000 basic salary with an OTE of £44,000

• Conduct road tests to diagnose faults accurately
• Perform routine inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with current regulations and maintain required accreditation
• Ensure work is completed within designated time frames, maintaining productivity and quality standards
  
  Complete all documentation, job cards, and reports accurately and promptly
• Collaborate closely with the service reception and parts teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment

• Formal qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent)
• Current MOT Testing Licence
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record
• Strong technical skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service
