At Elite Cooling Services (ECS), we specialise in delivering high-quality refrigeration and engineering solutions to the FMCG and industrial sectors. We’re now looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team—someone who can ensure electrical systems are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably across fast-paced production environments.
This is a varied, hands-on role offering stability, career development, and the opportunity to work with a close-knit team across multiple sites and projects.
What you’ll do:
* Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on industrial equipment
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime
* Work on control panels, wiring, motors, and electrical systems
* Troubleshoot and support PLC and control systems (where applicable)
* Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of electrical systems
* Assist production teams to maintain efficiency and performance
* Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
* Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and safety standards
* Maintain accurate records of work carried out
* Promote a safe, clean, and organised working environment
What you’ll bring:
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Experience with industrial electrical systems and control panels
* Knowledge of PLCs / automation systems (desirable)
* Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A safety-first mindset with strong attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement
What we offer:
* Salary up to £42,000 DOE based on experience.
* Enhanced overtime rates (1.5x)
* 40-hour working week (full-time)
