The Junior Payroll Administrator supports the payroll function by assisting with the accurate and timely processing of employee pay. This role is ideal for someone starting
Cmd a career in payroll or HR, with strong attention to detail and an interest in learning payroll legislation and systems.
- Help respond to employee payroll queries in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files
- Assist with payroll reports and audits as required
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements
- Processing of all UIF documentation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good numeracy skills
- Basic IT skills, particularly Excel
- Organised with the ability to meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn payroll software, legislation and procedures
- Previous administrative experience preferred (payroll or HR desirable but not essential)
- Basic understanding of payroll processes (training will be provided)
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Discreet with confidential information
- Positive attitude and eager to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
