Introduction

Our client is a high-growth, mid-sized private company that markets a combined product and service offering to a large and largely untapped private consumer market. We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial and execution-driven Chief Executive Officer who can play a leading role in driving this exciting business to achieve its potential. This is a hands-on leadership role for a commercially astute operator who thrives in high-growth environments. The successful candidate will drive strategy, profitability, operational excellence, and digital transformation while reporting to the Board and shareholders.

• Define and execute a clear 3–5 year growth strategy
• Drive operational efficiency, margin improvement and strong unit economics
• Lead digital and systems modernisation initiatives
• Build and strengthen a high-performance executive team
• Expand product offerings and strategic partnerships
• Oversee full P&L and cash flow management

• 10+ years of executive leadership experience in high-growth, tech-enabled businesses (fintech, telco, B2B2C advantageous)
• Proven P&L ownership and operational scale-up success
• Strong commercial acumen and cost discipline
• Experience engaging with boards and investors
• Strategic yet hands-on leadership style

Salary: R to R per annum, plus incentives, plus possible equity option
