Marketing and Brand Manager required in Pretoria.

An upmarket student accommodation development in Brooklyn, Pretoria — together with its fast-growing, lifestyle-driven restaurant — is looking for a dynamic Marketing & Brand Manager to lead its creative and digital presence.

This is not a corporate desk job. This is a high-energy, on-the-ground role for someone who understands youth culture, lives and breathes social media, and knows how to turn a space into the place to be.

The Marketing & Brand Manager will be responsible for building brand desirability, driving occupancy, increasing restaurant foot traffic, and overseeing exciting growth projects — including the launch of a wellness-focused mobile app.

You will lead the content strategy, manage external agencies, and drive performance marketing initiatives, while being fully immersed in the day-to-day energy of the residence.

Salary: R50,000 – R60,000 per month.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a bold, youth-focused marketing strategy
• Drive occupancy marketing for the student residence
• Increase visibility and foot traffic for the expanding restaurant
• Oversee and guide performance marketing campaigns (Meta, Google, paid social)
• Manage and brief external agencies (digital, creative, PR)
• Lead content strategy across social platforms
• Oversee daily engagement and community interaction
• Drive brand partnerships and on-site activations
• Support the rollout and promotion of the wellness app
• Track performance metrics and optimise campaigns accordingly

Requirements:

• Strong experience in social media marketing and brand building
• Solid understanding of performance marketing and digital campaigns
• Experience managing agencies and multiple stakeholders
• Energetic, hands-on and highly creative
• Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced, youth-driven environment
• Pretoria-based (role is fully on-site)
