Job Specification – Sales Representative (Consumables)
Locations: Heidelberg, East Rand, West Rand, Pretoria
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Market related + Commission + Medical Aid + Pension Fund + Cell + Vehicle + Laptop
Role OverviewWe are seeking dynamic and driven Sales Representatives to join our client’s team across multiple regions. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while consistently achieving sales targets. Experience in the packaging industry will be a strong advantage.
This role requires a motivated self?starter who can build strong customer relationships, service existing accounts, and actively grow new business within the consumables sector.
Minimum Requirements- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong sales background with proven experience as a Sales Representative
- Packaging industry experience (advantageous)
- Self?motivated, able to work without supervision
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Fast learner with a willingness to go the extra mile
- Computer literate (Windows, MS Word, Excel)
- Good organisational and time?management skills
- Neat, professional, and well?presented
- Achieve agreed?upon sales targets
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts
- Provide high levels of service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Plan and organise daily work schedules to call on existing or potential new accounts
- Keep management informed by submitting:
- Daily call reports
- Weekly work plans
- Monthly sales analysis
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and preparing reports
- Coordinate activities within the company to ensure customer commitments are met
- Collaborate with internal teams to support order fulfilment and service delivery
- Strong sales ability with a hunter mindset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
