COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client is within the fashion accessories / retail sector and is looking for a highly motivated, sales-savvy Sales Representative to join their growing team in Gauteng. This position will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Analyze the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Continuously improve through feedback

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• Post graduate Diploma / Degree in a relevant field

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 2 or more years experience as a Sales Representative
• Experience with in FMCG industry is beneficial
• Willingness to travel once a month, including sleeping out
• Proven sales experience, preferably within the FMCG sector
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to build lasting relationships
• Valid Drivers License and own reliable vehicle is essential
• Computer Literate (Excel intermediate)
