Position: Sales Manager (Property Finance / Home Loans)

A leading organisation in the property and financial services industry is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth, support regional strategy, and lead a high‑performing team of sales consultants.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, relationship‑driven environment and brings strong Home Loan and bond origination experience.

  • As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the region's sales performance and ensuring that consultants, partners, licensees, and key stakeholders receiveworld‑class support. Success in this role will hinge on your ability to:
    • Drive regional sales growth
    • Acquire new agencies
    • Strengthen internal and external partner networks
    • Ensure excellent application quality and compliance
    • Steer the team strategically toward achieving and exceeding targets
  • Above all, this role requires robust Home Loan experience, including knowledge of bank procedures, origination workflows, application processes, credit principles, and the full home loan lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and budgets aligned to regional objectives.
  • Grow new business and expand market share across targeted segments.
  • Track, analyse and revise sales performance daily.
  • Source, target, and sign-up new agencies to increase market penetration.
  • Sales Support & Operational Excellence
    • Manage sales capacity and optimise consultant placement across channels.
    • Conduct daily engagements with Sales Support and broker channel teams.
    • Implement clear submission criteria aligned with multiple banks' requirements.
    • Maintain MIS reporting and ensure data accuracy across partner databases.
    • Monitor competitor activity and market conditions and translate insights into strategy.
    • Plan and execute marketing initiatives, events, and sales activations.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build strong internal and external relationships.
    • Support licensee offices and ensure consistent, quality service across the region.
Qualifications & Experience Needed
  • Grade 12 (minimum)
  • Tertiary Qualification in Business Management (advantageous)
  • 5-7 years in a Sales Management role
  • Essential:
    Extensive experience in Home Loans / Bond Origination
  • Strong understanding of compliance, sales legislation, and the SA property industry
  • Home loan origination processes and procedures
  • Bond applications, grants, purchase and registration processes
  • Home loan products, pricing, and lending principles
  • Credit application and securities requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and people‑management ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • High levels of accountability, resilience, and commercial acumen
