Sales & Marketing Manager
We are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager from the transport/long haul/logistics industry to take the lead on sales and marketing for our client's Pretoria branch. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, building customer relationships and being involved in the overall running of the branch.
Location: Pretoria
Job Type: Permanent, On-site
Requirements- Grade 12
- Tertiary education highly advantageous
- 5 years' sales management experience
- Previous experience managing or leading a team
- Proven sales and business development experience
- Good understanding of branch operations
- Strong communication, organisational and computer skills
- Experience in removals, logistics or a related industry would be an advantage
- Valid Code 8 driver's licence
- Manage and support the sales team and drive performance
- Grow branch sales and develop new business
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Oversee quotations, tenders, costing and sales activities
- Manage sales targets, reporting and follow-ups
- Assist with the overall day-to-day running of the branch
- Identify opportunities to improve sales, service and profitability
- Support local marketing and business development initiatives
