Job Summary A well-established telecommunications company based in Centurion is looking for a Junior Network Technician to join their technical team. This role is ideal for someone hands-on and eager to grow in the telecoms and networking field. The successful candidate will mainly be responsible for installations and cable pulling at client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of network and telecoms infrastructure
- Pulling, routing, and securing network cables (CAT5/CAT6, fibre, etc.)
- Assist with basic network setups and on-site installations
- Support senior technicians during installations and maintenance work
- Ensure all work is completed neatly and according to safety standards
- Perform basic troubleshooting when required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Basic understanding of networking or telecoms installations
- Comfortable with physical work, including cable pulling and ladder work
- Willing to work on-site at client locations
- Valid driver’s licence
