Our Client is looking for a Qualified Airbrake Technician to join their service team.

In this role, you will ensure the safety and reliability of a modern fleet of trucks by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining advanced braking systems to the highest standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex faults in air brake systems
• Perform repairs and overhauls
• Conduct comprehensive brake tests and system inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle uptime and safety.
• Interpret technical diagrams and manuals to accurately identify required parts and procedures.
• Work on advanced systems including Trailer ABS and EBS (Electronic Braking Systems).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Airbrake Technician working with trucks and trailers.
• Qualified with a Trade Test (Red Seal or Section 13) or N3 Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Certified training in Basic Airbrake Systems and Trailer ABS.
• Certified training in Advanced Airbrake Systems and Trailer EBS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Advanced Fault Finding on both truck and trailer systems (WABCO training is highly regarded).
