HVAC​/Air Conditioning Technician

On behalf of our client, a reputable and growing HVAC and Air Conditioning company based in the Roodeplaat / Derdepoort area, we are seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC / Air Conditioning Technician to join their technical team.

This role is suited to a hands‑on, technically skilled individual with strong fault‑finding abilities and a solid understanding of HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments.

• Install, service, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems
• Conduct fault‑finding and diagnostics on split units, VRV/VRF systems, and ducted systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and compliance inspections
• Ensure installations comply with safety and regulatory standards
• Complete job cards and technical reports accurately
• Liaise with clients professionally on‑site
• Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained properly

• Relevant HVAC / Refrigeration qualification (Trade Test / Diploma / NQF equivalent)
• Valid Refrigerant Gas Handling License
• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in HVAC / Air Conditioning
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Valid driver’s license (essential)
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Physically fit and able to work at heights where required

• Experience with commercial HVAC systems
• Electrical knowledge related to HVAC installations
• Experience working on VRV / VRF systems
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
