About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Aircraft Avionics Technician to join their maintenance team in Pretoria . This role focuses on the installation, inspection, testing, and repair of complex aircraft electronic systems. You will work on a variety of aircraft, ensuring that all avionics equipment functions correctly and meets stringent safety and performance standards. • Install, inspect, test, and repair aircraft avionics equipment, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics system malfunctions using specialized test equipment.
• Interpret aircraft technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to perform maintenance tasks.
• Perform functional checks and calibrations on avionics components to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document all repairs and modifications.
• Ensure all work complies with South African Civil Aviation Authority regulations and company standards.

• Trade qualification as an Aircraft Avionics Technician or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with aircraft avionics systems.

• Ability to read and understand complex technical documentation and blueprints.
