About the Role
Our client seeks an experienced Senior Installation Specialist to lead installation projects and provide expert technical support in Pretoria . This critical role involves managing the end-to-end installation process for complex systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. You will also mentor junior technicians and act as a technical authority on-site, troubleshooting challenging issues. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading technical installations and a deep understanding of system integration and testing procedures within the Gauteng region.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute the installation of sophisticated equipment and systems from start to finish.
- Perform comprehensive system testing and commissioning, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems encountered during installation and operation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of installation technicians.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and client specifications.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including installation reports, test results, and as-built drawings.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) as an Installation Specialist or in a related technical field, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of system installation methodologies, troubleshooting, and testing protocols.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical blueprints and schematics.
- Relevant technical certifications or a degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines in the Pretoria area.
