About the Role
Our client requires a highly organized and technically proficient Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations for their facilities in Pretoria . This role is crucial for ensuring the continuous and safe operation of all electrical systems and equipment. You will lead a team of electricians, manage maintenance schedules, and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical maintenance and possess excellent leadership qualities, contributing to the operational integrity of our client's infrastructure in the administrative capital, Pretoria .
- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the electrical maintenance team.
- Develop and execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and breakdowns efficiently and safely.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to electrical work.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development for the maintenance team.
- Trade Test Certificate (Electrician) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems , control circuits, and PLCs.
- Experience with high voltage equipment and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
