About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Senior Security Systems Technician to join their growing team in Pretoria . This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of security infrastructure for a diverse range of clients. This is a key role for an experienced technician who is adept at complex troubleshooting and committed to providing high-level security solutions, playing a vital part in safeguarding assets and premises in the Gauteng region.

• Install, configure, and maintain various security systems, including video surveillance (CCTV), access control, and alarm systems.
• Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of security system hardware and software to identify and resolve malfunctions.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
• Respond to emergency service calls for system failures or security breaches, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Read and interpret system diagrams , blueprints, and technical manuals for installation and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on the operation of security systems.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in installing and servicing electronic security systems.
• Proven expertise with CCTV, access control, and alarm system technologies from leading manufacturers.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and IT infrastructure as it relates to security systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the Pretoria area as required.
