Commercial Appliance Technician

Our client is seeking a proficient Commercial Appliance Technician to serve clients throughout the Pretoria region. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of commercial kitchen and refrigeration appliances. You will be responsible for diagnosing technical faults, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring that client equipment operates efficiently and safely. This position requires a high degree of technical skill, problem-solving ability, and excellent customer interaction, contributing to the smooth operation of numerous businesses in Pretoria .

• Install, service, and repair commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration units, and other appliances.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and gas-related issues using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal appliance performance and longevity.
• Replace worn or defective parts and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Provide clear explanations to clients regarding service performed and any necessary recommendations.

• Proven experience as a Technician specializing in commercial appliances.
• Strong knowledge of various commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, dishwashers) and refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with gas, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are advantageous.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
