HVAC Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking a qualified HVAC Maintenance Technician to join their remote team, supporting facilities primarily in the Pretoria region. This role focuses on ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various client sites. You will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and system upgrades, ensuring optimal environmental conditions and energy efficiency.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, and boilers.
• Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Install, modify, and repair HVAC components and systems according to technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate service logs and inventory of HVAC parts and supplies, reporting remotely.
• Respond to urgent service calls and ensure timely resolution of HVAC issues.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations relevant to HVAC operations.

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and control systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools for troubleshooting.
• Relevant trade certification (e.g., NQF Level 3 or higher) in HVAC or refrigeration.
• Ability to work independently and manage service schedules effectively in a remote setting.
• Good understanding of electrical and mechanical principles related to HVAC.
