About the RoleAs a Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you’ll be responsible for providing essential respiratory care to patients of all ages. From managing ventilators to conducting ABG analysis and delivering neonatal and adult resuscitation, you’ll be a key player in ensuring optimal respiratory function and patient education. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and caring environment while experiencing the beauty and tranquility of rural Utah.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including ABG, SVN, CPT, and ventilator management.
- Prepare and maintain patient care areas, ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are ready.
- Interpret and execute physician orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor patient conditions and report findings to physicians promptly.
- Educate patients on improving their respiratory health and offer guidance on preventive care.
- Licensure:
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in Utah (or ability to obtain). - BLS & ACLS (must be obtained within six months of hire).
- PALS & NRP (must be obtained within six months of hire).
