A retail pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to provide professional medication dispensing and patient care services on a per diem basis. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with retail experience looking to support a busy pharmacy environment with a committed team.
Location:
- Price, Utah
Schedule:
- Weekdays: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Work dates requested:
August 21 and August 22
Environment & Volume:
- Team includes 1.5 pharmacists and 3 pharmacy technicians
- Daily prescription volume of approximately 75 to 100
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with state laws and pharmacy policies
- Provide patient counseling and respond to medication-related inquiries
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians who handle order entry using Pioneer RX system
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Support daily pharmacy operations to maintain efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Experience with Pioneer RX a plus but not required; technicians handle the order entry process
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
