Trademark Legal Assistant

About your role

The role will primarily focus on customer support and administrative duties to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of our trademark service.

How you will make a difference day to day

• Corresponding with clients and helping with their trademark questions
• Managing client files
• Checking for conflicts in trademark matters
• Conducting trademark clearance searches
• Responding to customer service inquiries by phone and in writing
• Preparing invoices and managing billing for clients and lawyers in partnership with the finance department
• Evaluating processes and procedures to improve the group’s efficiency, productivity, and communication
• Other responsibilities as needed to support Rocket Lawyer

What you’ll need

• Prior trademark experience
• 2+ years of customer support or administrative assistant experience
• Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent analytical skills
• Ability to adapt and willingness to work on a variety of matters
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent tech skills, including Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and G Suite applications
• Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including executives and senior management
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and highly team-oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and handle competing priorities while managing deadlines

A plus if you have

• Experience in a high volume filing environment

Compensation

Base salary range by location:
Utah and North Carolina: $48,000 - $52,000

Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, location, and interview performance. $48,000 - $52,000 USD
