the department of alcoholic beverage services is seeking a results oriented leader to fill their warehouse supervisor position on the swing shift. You will be working alongside and supervising a team of employees who are responsible for the accurate shipping, receiving and storage of product.
responsibilities- supervise others by delegating assignments, hiring, monitoring performance, training, initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.
- work from 2 p.m. To 10:30 p.m. Monday through friday (occasional saturdays and sundays as needed).
- work in an air conditioned warehouse environment.
- ensure all warehouse assignments are completed accurately and efficiently.
- operate computer and automated inventory systems.
- conduct regular or spot check inventory audits.
- assists with special projects and other duties as needed to support department initiatives.
- uphold the dabs standards of equipment safety, upkeep and training.
- performs other related duties as assigned, within the scope of this role.
- be able to work independently.
- have strong supervisory experience.
- be able to make decisions to ensure the daily assignments are completed.
- have warehouse experience.
- be able to pass a criminal background check.
- be able to work saturdays and sundays as needed.
- be able to lift 75 pounds on a continuous basis.
- be at least 21 years of age.
- previous asrs experience preferred.
