This hybrid role requires an in-office presence at our Salt Lake City location for a minimum of two days per week. Candidates should be based within commuting distance of the Salt Lake City office or be able to relocate.

Senior Account Executives (SAEs) are account managers who lead client accounts alongside senior leadership team members. For our Consumer practice, we are looking for storytellers who can translate complex narratives into compelling consumer-facing campaigns. The individual selected for this role will leverage industry skills across client relations, media relations, influencer engagement, and brand strategy.

• Contribute to the creation of consumer communications plans to meet client objectives and maximize monthly retainers.
• Execute and demonstrate Method's Concierge Service delivery approach to clients and teams.
• Create brand messaging for consumer audiences, including social media, media outreach, and interviews.
• Write press releases, pitches, and blog posts with minimal oversight.
• Manage multiple projects for multiple consumer clients from concept to completion.
• Troubleshoot problems, propose solutions, offer client counsel, and ensure deadline and budget adherence.

• Build relationships with consumer lifestyle reporters, editors, and influencers to secure coverage in top-tier consumer verticals.
• Review and provide guidance on media requests and briefing books, identifying new reporters and storylines that resonate with consumer audiences.
• Research and analyze media coverage and trends to position Method as a trusted expert for external stakeholders.

• Participate in new business pitches, including research, creative brainstorming, and presentation.
• Grow professional and industry contacts by representing Method in virtual and out-of-office environments.
• Act as a mentor to early career staff, identify goals, and provide guidance and feedback on performance.
• Advocate for continued learning and personal growth by understanding how to lead and manage multiple people from diverse backgrounds.

• 4-6 years of experience in public relations, communications, or marketing, preferably with a focus on consumer brands.
• Comfortable working with consumer media, pitching lifestyle stories, and providing targeted outreach to diverse audiences.
• Established relationships with consumer media and influencers.
• Adaptable management style, fit to manage others and oversee multiple direct reports.
• Suitable to serve as a daily client contact and respond rapidly to communications.
• Proficient with Google Drive and Google’s suite of tools (e.g., Slides, Docs, Sheets).
• Adept with influencer programming and integrated campaigns
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programs.
• Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills.
• Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
