Job Description - LPN - Med Surg FT ) Description

Provides direct and indirect patient care and assists other nurses in the Med Surg Department. Responsible for front office duties. These duties include, but are not limited to, patient triage, obtaining a health history, performing ancillary tests, secretarial duties and carrying out the order prescribed by the provider. Interviews patients, gives injections, completes lab and x-rays, maintains current patient charts, and screens calls within physician guidelines.

Assists physician in performing procedures for the comfort and well-being of patients.

Requirements: current Utah LPN licensure. Basic Life Support Certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Must be currently enrolled in an RN program. Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
