Day Shift Schedule

Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–3:30 PM
Every other Friday off

Employees must be available to work a 40‑hour workweek and additional hours when business needs require.

What You’ll Build

Our Electrical Manufacturing Technicians help assemble and wire custom electrical equipment from the beginning stages of production through testing and final inspection.

Depending on your experience and assigned work, you may:

  • Install electrical components into custom power distribution equipment.
  • Build and wire control panels, switchboards, transformers, breakers, relays, PLC systems, and related assemblies.
  • Learn to read and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
  • Route, label, terminate, and test electrical wiring.
  • Perform modifications and repairs to electrical assemblies.
  • Inspect completed work for accuracy, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Identify and correct wiring or assembly discrepancies.
  • Assist with electrical testing and final equipment verification.
Testing & Troubleshooting

As your skills develop, you may also perform or assist with:

  • Continuity testing
  • Insulation resistance testing
  • Hi-Pot testing
  • Operational verification
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Final quality inspections

Technicians are expected to follow established procedures and ensure their work meets IE’s safety, engineering, and quality standards.

Tools & Equipment

Previous experience with electrical tools and equipment is not required, but it is a significant benefit. Candidates with experience using hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, or material‑handling equipment are strongly encouraged to apply.

Equipment used in this position may include:

  • Wire strippers and crimping tools
  • Multimeters and Volt/Ohm meters
  • Hi-Pot testing equipment
  • Power drills and utility knives
  • General hand and power tools
  • Forklifts
  • Overhead cranes
  • Material hoists
