Job Duties
- Shipping and receiving the majority of items entering or leaving the campus.
- Banner and computer database research and data entry. Record and filing.
- Pickup and delivery of supplies, internally and externally, as well as handling mail.
- Ensure fixed assets are properly tagged and tracked.
- Provide campus mail services.
- Coordinate all sales and salvage activity.
- Provide backup for the WHMIS / MSDS tracking process.
Required Qualifications ,
Skills and Abilities
(QSA)
- 1. Completion of Grade 12.
- 2. Two years’ recent and relevant experience in all activities related to warehousing and shipping/receiving or supply chain certification. Knowledge of purchasing, transportation and inventory control skills.
- 3. Knowledge of general business/accounting and administration.
- 5. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- 6. Valid Driver’s license.
- 7. Good organizational and time management skills.
- 8. Good interpersonal, communication, and customer services skills.
- 9. Ability to handle heavy/awkward objects on a regular basis.
- 10. Must attain forklift certification within three months of hiring.
- 11. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
