The pay range for this role is $90,000.00 - $ anually.
Placement within the range will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The final offer will reflect the successful candidate's background and demonstrated capabilities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Planning & Analysis- Accountable for all aspects of the budgeting and forecasting process from A to Z for the business units.
- Coordinate and facilitate the budget and forecast process with the key business partners (sales, margin, expenses, etc.)
- Develop & distribute the budget and forecast templates
- Evaluate, analyze, and review the budget and forecast submissions by the key business partners
- Prepare financial analysis to support the budget and forecast submissions
- Analyze the financial results against the comparators and provide explanations for variances
- Responsible for the development of internal business reporting to drive the business performance and results for the business units as well as other business units as assigned
- Work with senior management and business unit managers to ensure value added reporting is available to make sound business decisions and understanding of the business results
- Examples of internal business reporting are:
1) Sales reporting: daily sales, customer sales reports, product sales reports, etc.
2) Margin/profitability reporting: customer & product profitability reporting, etc.
3) Gross to net sales reporting.
4) Business unit profitability reporting.
- Assist the FP&A team with the delivery of complex technical financial analysis to support business unit results and decision making
- Assist with the development of qualitative and quantitative analysis and prepare metrics on assigned business problems and/or opportunities
- Assist the preparation of analysis and presentations, assess the impact of the analysis, identify conclusions, opportunities and risks, and make appropriate recommendations
- Evaluate the financial results of ongoing business strategies
- Condense complex analytics into useful communication
- Respond to requests from senior management, business managers, product development and marketing for analysis and metrics (including the Region)
- Perform ad hoc analysis as required
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, & annual actual corporate reporting process for sales and gross margin for the business units (plus others as assigned).
- Accountable for all internal reporting & analysis to validate and verify actual net sales & gross margin reporting before submission to corporate (including intercompany sales eliminations, customer rebates, vendor rebates, etc.)
- Ensure accuracy & integrity of the gross to net sales, cost of goods purchased, as well as fully loaded gross margin
- Reconciliation of rebates & chargebacks to ensure accurate net sales
- Review & audit cost of goods purchased to ensure costs are setup accurately in SAP & within corporate systems
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of all GAN corporate reporting (sales) for reporting units within the business unit as per corporate and regional deadlines
- Assist in the preparation and submission of all quarterly corporate reporting for reporting units within the business unit as per corporate and regional deadlines including but not limited to the quarterly LE (Latest Estimate)
- Assist the FP&A team and Controlling team with priorities as assigned by the Manager, FP&A and Vice President, Corporate Services.
- Develop new and automated KPI reporting using big data or Power BI to improve internal business unit reporting across Canada. Lead the IT resources in implementing better reporting tools to achieve better KPI reporting.
