As a strategic leader in the Finance & Planning department, you’ll oversee capital asset reporting and long-term financial planning. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring efficiency and compliance throughout the capital reporting processes. Key expectations include leading a high-performing team and fostering relationships with operational areas to meet financial reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver accurate capital asset reporting information
• Collaborate on financial business plans and strategy
• Supervise production of variance analysis reports
• Analyze operational performance and drive improvements
• Recruit and develop accounting staff effectively
Requirements:
• CPA or equivalent qualification required
• 8+ years of accounting experience needed
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory roles required
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and capital assets reporting
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives
