The Service is hiring a Manager, Communications and Stakeholder Relations to support strategic communications planning and implementation. The ideal candidate is a strategic, influential communicator who is confident, action-oriented, and skilled in building strong relationships. They possess knowledge of communication techniques, methods, and tools, and can communicate complex issues clearly across varied audiences. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high-volume workloads are essential.

Qualifications typically include a Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, or Communications, along with proven experience in strategic and internal communications. Equivalent education and experience will be considered. Experience in police or emergency services is an asset.

Responsibilities include managing communications initiatives, advising senior officials, planning events, creating communication tools, writing materials, engaging stakeholders, maintaining the SMS website and social media, and responding to public and media inquiries.
