Solar Share

Position is virtual but candidates must reside in Ontario.

Solar Share is a non-profit renewable energy co‑operative. We believe in clean energy that is community‑financed,
-owned, and
-governed. Our 2,000+ members have invested over $80 million, resulting in 51 solar projects, 140 million kWh electricity produced, and $17+ million paid back to our community. Visit  to learn more!

This is a three‑year term starting June 16, 2026. These are unpaid, volunteer roles, with directors typically committing 5‑10 hours per month. Nominees must be (or become) a member of Solar Share. Experience in human resource management, financial audit review, and/or project development and operations in the electricity sector is particularly valuable.
