Cultural Programs Manager

NITHA invites applications for the Cultural Programs Manager role, dedicated to improving community wellness through culturally enriching initiatives. In this position, you will plan cultural events, engage with artists and Knowledge Keepers, and support essential training initiatives aimed at promoting cultural safety. Monitoring program effectiveness will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan diverse cultural programming for community well-being

• Engage and collaborate with Elders and partners

• Manage partnerships to foster cultural initiatives

• Facilitate cultural safety training for targeted audiences

• Evaluate community engagement and program outcomes

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent degree

• Education in Indigenous Studies, Social Work, or relevant fields

• Background in program management or community involvement

• Strong organizational skills and cultural competence

• Ability to foster respectful partnerships within the community
