Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Sales Agronomist at our Agro location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, agribusiness partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct field scouting to diagnose crop issues (weeds, pests, disease, nutrient deficiencies).
  • Provide tailored agronomic recommendations based on soil tests, crop conditions, and farm goals.
  • Promote and sell seed, fertilizer, pesticides, and related agronomic products.
  • Support growers with product selection, application timing, and best management practices.
  • Deliver product information through field days, demonstrations, and agronomy meetings.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, product representatives, and internal sales teams.
  • Stay updated on new technologies, crop trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain records of field observations, sales activity, and customer interactions.
  • Meet sales targets and contribute to business growth.
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
Qualifications
  • You hold a degree or diploma in Agriculture and are eligible for membership with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.
  • You hold a Certified Crop Advisor or Professional Agrologist designation or are willing to obtain one.
  • You carry a valid class 5 driver's license and are willing to travel within the assigned territory.
